SNCAO

The SNCAO (Syndicat National du Commerce de l'Antiquité, de l'Occassion - National Union of Antiques and Second hand furniture) which was formed in 1948 has recently opened its doors to Art Galleries (SNCAO-GA)
The union is very active in promoting the antique trade and participates in the professional formation of antique dealers with the University of Marne La Vallee which delivers a Professional degree in "Commerce de l'Art et des Antiquites" (Negotiation in Art and Antiques )
The SNCAO is also a certifying body with the aim of valorising the Art  trade and the protection of patrons and buyers of Art
The SNCAO created the Foire a la Brocante et Jambon de Chatou (The Chatou Antique and Ham Fair) which takes place twice a year and attracts 800 antique dealers
The label SNCAO guarantees the legality of international trade fairs
