Elegant Louis XVI Secretary of the Nantaise Region in solid walnut and walnut veneer.
Its solid wood top is carved with rounded projections.
It opens with a high belt drawer, a flap and 3 other drawers. All closing with their respective keys. Their central panels are plated in ramage while their framing is massive.
The open flap, equipped with 2 compasses, overlooks a tabernacle composed of a shelf, 2 niches below and 6 drawers with buttons. The interior of the seat is covered with a new leather red decorated with vignettes and gilded motifs in the center and angles.
The sides in massive panels and the facades are also adorned with brass rods and the amounts are fluted.
The back in solid oak is panneauté and it rests on 2 front feet turned, tapered and decorated with brass shoes and 2 feet back straight.
Period: Late eighteenth.
Perfect condition after restoration, stripping and waxed patina in our workshop.
