Spectacular hexagonal display cabinet opening with 3 doors inserted between three frames. The display case rests on six beautiful claw feet. The finely serrated cornice has a frieze of stylized acanthus leaves. On each upright there are rocaille motifs on either side of a pearl row. Beautiful moldings enhanced with green lacquer surround the low and high cornices. The interior reveals 3 rows of shelves arranged on chrome supports adjoining a central parrot. Side hooks also in chrome allow to stabilize the shelves. These are adjustable in height. The bottom and the top of the display case are made of mirror plates. Very good general condition. No breaks on the cast iron. Traces of use on the glasses and some shelves redone later. Quality work. France or England mid-19th century.
