Pair Of Empire Style Ceremonial Armchairs - End Of The 19th Century.

Very nice pair of Empire style Cuban mahogany flat back armchairs.
-The two front feet are straight and ended with bronze hooves decorated with claws. The two hind feet are saber shaped.
- The front belt is slightly cinched. The armrests feature fabric cuffs.
- Trim redone in the old way. Nice striped fabrics.
-Rich ornamentation of gilded and chiseled bronzes decorated with palmettes and rosettes.

-French work circa 1880.
-Spacious and comfortable seats very representative of the 1st Empire style.
