FRANZINI-HEINEN
FRANZINI-HEINEN

46/5000 Pair of Empire style armchairs circa 1880.

Nice pair of armchairs taking the spirit of the chaise lounges of the Empire period.
They rest on the square section feet, determined by a pair of bronze claws.
The files end with a light mahogany winding.
Old original garnish decorated with palm leaves on a blue background.
These seats are in their original condition. The seat is worn and the fabrics slightly torn at the front corners. An amount requires restoration. A stick is missing on a front leg.
All of these seats, however, are in good condition and are characterized by the use of beautiful mahogany as well as an unusual shape in this style.
Beautiful French or northern European manufacturing from the second half of the 19th century, certainly around 1870-1880.
Provenance: Castle of Picardy.
