Find a corner cupboard

The corner cupboard is a  triangular shaped piece of furniture made to fit into the corner of a room. It is  both  a gain of space and  an object of decoration. The corner cupboard appeared under the reign of Louis XV and was very popular throughout the 18th and 19th Centuries.  The first corner cupboards were in two parts with the top either open with shelves or closed with doors. The front could be  straight or shaped. It was  either free standing or part of  the woodpaneling. Louis XVI period corner cupboards tended to be low with marble tops. Under the Napoleon III period and Art Nouveau period the corner cupboard took the form of a corner display cabinet with a glazed front.
