20th C furniture

In the beginning of the 20th C ,  art déco (1920-1930)  succeeded Art Nouveau.Prestigious products replaced those of mass production, geometric shapes replaced extravagant curves. The aerodynamic Art Moderne style, also known as Streamline Moderne, emerged alongside the Art Deco mouvement in the 1930s.   After the Second World War the Design style replaced Art Moderne and the end of the Century saw the fashion for industrial antiques.
