From the early 19th C to the July Revolution in 1830 the Empire style predominates.
Under the reign of  Louis XVIII followed by  Charles X,  we refer to the Restauration style which is best known for its tables and seating.
The reign of Louis Philippe sees the apparition of a mix of the styles Empire, Renaissance and  Baroque.

The late 19th C shows a return to the Louis XV style, closely associated to Louis Philippe style,  characterized by the exagerated curved legs such as on the famous " bergere" armchairs fauteuils bergères.
