Find a card table

Card table is the general name given to tables for playing cards or board games such as backgammon. They became popular in the 18th C under the reign of Louis XV.  The shape is usually half moon or rectangular on cabriole legs with a fold over top concealing a green felt playing surface. Some tables have recessed holders for tokens. Antique card tables are usually found in mahogany, walnut and rosewood.
